Archibald Shrew is in trouble again. Mayor Popli is calling in everyone to help save Archie from the dangerous waters. Your mission is to get a life-saving device to Archie, who is 6-10 feet away in the deep ocean. To do so, your team will be engineering a rescue launcher.
My favorite part was that I gave zero instructions other than they had to get the gummy life savers from one end of the table to the other. They came up with all sorts of creative ideas!
This was perfect for 6th grade, and I'm confident it would work for in lower levels as well. Quick setup and cleanup, and the kids were 100% into it.
